Chapin Hall is seeking a Fiscal Analyst to provide budgeting, analytic, and general accounting expertise and skills in its grants and contracts department. Chapin Hall's research is funded by a broad range of sponsors, foundations, organizations, and governmental entities offering a wide and interesting scope of financial activities in a fast-paced work environment. This is a temporary position that will continue through November 30, 2013, with the possibility of converting to a regular position at that time.

Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five years relevant experience required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years experience in accounting, finance or another financially-oriented role required.
Experience in forensic accounting, financial modeling and forecasting strongly preferred.
Familiarity with federal grants (NIH, NSF) and federal contracts (ACF Task Orders) as well as major non-federal grant and contract policies, including states is preferred.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Ability to think strategically required.
Ability to develop and analyze alternative solutions and assist in making recommendations required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to successfully prioritize and complete multiple, concurrent projects required.
Demonstrated judgment and discretion in the sharing of sensitive information required.
Ability to work in a face pace, ever-changing environment required.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with a high degree of initiative required.
Intermediate skills in Word and Excel required.
Knowledge of Filemaker Pro or similar database software preferred.
