Under the general direction of the Senior Financial Analyst, the incumbent is responsible for the financial and administrative management of major federal and private contracts and grants as well as other extramural funds that support various research and instructional programs within the Department of Molecular Biology & Biochemistry. Incumbent has independent decision making authority, policy analysis and interpretation and independent problem solving responsibilities that requires on-going interaction with all levels of university and agency faculty and staff. The incumbent is also responsible for the departmental accounts, including monthly reconciliation and review and analysis of expenditures, in consultation with the MSO. Incumbent is responsible for the accounting reconciliation, preparation of petty cash, Check Requests and other accounts payable documents, reporting, projecting and budgeting of all assigned funds.

Salary: Annual $45,012
Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., M-F
