Financial Analyst - Partners Physician Group Under the direct supervision of the Director of Finance and Operations AGP, the Financial Analyst - AGP is responsible for the financial operations of Partners Physician Group including preparing spreadsheets and schedules for physician productivity, physician compensation, and end-of-month close. Creates and reviews the A/P reconciliations for contracted groups. Receives check requests from physician office managers and reviews for correct account number. Prepares journal entries as requested. Prepares and reviews the payroll journal entries in the salaries transfer in and out accounts. Prepares monthly productivity bonus reports for contracted physicians. Prepares monthly financial packets for the office managers. Develops financial projections and proforma's for new physician partnerships and joint ventures. Develops financial projections for physicians interested in joining Partners Physician Group (PPG). Works with and maintains a close working relationship with the physician office managers and other departments. Assist in the planning, development and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets, explaining variances and making/implementing recommendations for corrective action as needed. Integrates programs and activities with Akron General as appropriate. Facilitates positive physician relations. Makes recommendations for improvements in physician, employee, and patient satisfaction Creates periodic performance reports for review by the Director of Finance. Maintains own continuing education and professional development and ensures continuing education opportunities for employees. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, or related field). Three to five years experience in accounting. Knowledge of budgeting, business planning, and development. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good attention to detail. Proficient personal computing skills including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and accomplish project deadlines. Ability to facilitate positive physician relations and interact effectively with peers, staff and administration. Self-starter who is able to work alone or as a member of a team.
