The Finance Project Analyst supports Oil & Gas and Power Generation with worldwide project analysis. This candidate will be monitoring project cost & cash, tracking contract variations and working as a key member in a project team environment.
Support with project accounting and reporting through working with project management team to track project financial performance (cash, cost, risk); supporting bid evaluation and commercial terms; participating in forecasting and budgeting process; and supporting gate check financial reviews
Provide support monthly and year-end reporting by performing monthly reconciliations and analyzing profit & loss and balance sheet accounts
Assist in process improvement initiatives that support customer facing business units and credit management support.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance function or masters degree and 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance function
CPA or equivalent preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong PC skills with proven ability to develop and modify sophisticated financial models
Knowledge of Hyperion & SAP preferred
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and strong leadership & presentation skills
Ability to adapt to and contribute to organizational change in a fast paced business
