We are seeking a Financial Analyst for Marsh’s Insurance Services Businesses (ISB) division.
ISB is made up of 4 businesses: CS Stars, The Shinnerer Group, Programs & Franchises and Private Client Services. Each business offers distinct products and services. The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical decision support across ISB and to each of its businesses. The Financial Analyst will assist in the evaluation of growth opportunities (such as new product offerings, and client acquisition strategies), product/client pricing and profitability, and incentive compensation plans. This individual will also identify, measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for each business and assist with financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
Perform financial modeling and analysis in support of strategic growth opportunities
Develop KPIs and a monthly dashboard with commentary to provide forward looking insights into each business
Provide assistance to finance leaders ensuring accurate and timely reporting, forecasting and budgeting
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and develop into senior management-level financial presentations
Assist in integrating information and analyses into actionable recommendations and/or decision frameworks for senior management
Stay abreast of research and report on trends in the industry and with competitors
Has 2-4 years of relevant financial or business analysis experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or other quantitative discipline
A high proficiency in math and financial concepts required
Demonstrated financial modeling background
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; comfortable in a fast-paced atmosphere; possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, able to work in a small team
Demonstrated superior understanding of Excel; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
