PRIMARY PURPOSE : To gather and analyze financial data in the budget/forecast process; to generate ad hoc reporting; and to ensure income statements reflect accurate information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Gathers and analyzes financial data during the budget/forecast process; maintains and administers budget database including budget/forecast reporting. Generates reporting and analysis as requested by management. Ensures income statements reflect accurate information. Maintains a thorough understanding of current and new finance programs and initiatives; makes recommendations for enhancements and improvements. Communicates issues, project status and other applicable information to management.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes special projects as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Support s the organization's quality program(s). Travels as required.
Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions. Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
Education & Licensing
BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred. Major in accounting field preferred. Certified Public Account (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification strongly preferred. Each year of related work experience beyond the requirement equates to one (1) year of post secondary education.
Five (5) years accounting and financial analysis experience required. AS/AA degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience; BS/BA degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience; MS/MA degree may substitute for three (3) years of experience.
