The Variable Compensation Analyst role is a critical position in the ES Water commercial business. The commercial finance team is responsible for $1.2B orders in 10 regionals globally. The focus of this role is to partner with the sales and HR teams to forecast, analyze, and report on the performance and compensation of the sales organization.
In addition, you will:
Manage and execute the variable incentive compensation (VIC) payout to 250 global sales employees that support 1.2B of orders globally
Compose the annual VIC payout policy documents, plan acknowledgements, and full plan roll out including training sales leadership, sales contributors, HR, and finance globally
Support the Op plan allocation or commercial metrics out to each sales employee and it aligns with overall business metrics
Design Global Sales Force Effectiveness analysis and dashboard, a comprehensive review of individual performance to optimize sales staff performance
Redesign $9M complex compensation plan with new strategies while maintaining a 6 week payout cycle
Collaboratively develop VIC structures and special incentives with sales leadership for GPB, SII, and Op to quantify plan costs, and ability to execute on the VIC plans
Lead the ES Water VIC board to discuss and issues or requests raised by the sales team in regards to VIC payouts or plan administration guidelines
Manage a support team to implement the VIC plan through assigning orders to employees, preparing employee statements, resolving employee questions, and coordinating the payment of all employees timely
Drive the completion of various Energy and Water initiatives to support streamlining of VIC data in Oracle and VIC administration implementation
Assist the commercial FP&A team in customer level orders reporting and recognition
Special commercial projects as needed
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
Minimum of 6 years of Finance experience in GE (GE Employees only)
FMP Graduate or a minimum of 2 years of CAS experience (GE Employees only)
