As part of the Executive Support function within the Financial Planning and Analysis team, this role will provide proactive and detailed analyses of m

onthly p&;. balance sheet and capital performance highlighting

key drivers of monthly activity, variances to budget/forecast,

business trends, and key metrics for the region’s senior leadership team to assist in various decision making processes.

The individual will be required to make informed recommendations on content changes in order to provide increased transparency to the financial results and serve as the key contact for queries relating to the consolidated results. The individual will also assist in the preparation of the monthly management book for the region’s Executive team certain businesses and other ad-hoc materials including strategic updates, external presentations, reporting to regulators, town-hall presentations, etc. In addition, all members of the Executive Support function are asked to maintain an awareness of changes to business requirements in order to ensure that impacts on outputs are sufficiently assessed and appropriate changes are made within required timescales. This role will also liaise with management at the Bank’s London headquarters to maintain a unified global business model and ensure consistency in the reporting of the region’s financial performance. Requirements also include initiating process improvements based upon an assessment of current procedures and coordination with business counterparts and technology teams to develop and improve analytical models and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related followed by 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the Financial Services industry.

Experience involving the use of financial reporting systems Essbase and Hyperion to prepare and analyze periodic financial information is preferred. Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Point is preferred. Candidates will be evaluated based on their experience preparing written commentary on underlying business performance as well as their ability to develop forward-looking operating plans/strategic presentations while liaising with various business counterparts.
