The Department of Medicine's Office of the Chair seeks a Director of Administrative Operations to serve as the point person for a variety of business needs that include, but are not limited to:

Financial reporting as it relates to the the department's clinical practice and strategic plan, county clinical activities, compliance programs, and benchmarking of physician activities.

Preparation of proposals for new clinical programs.

Oversight of the Department's use of electronic billing for inpatient activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree

Minimum Experience:
5 years

Minimum Field of Expertise:
Business education or closely related field. Expert knowledge of and experience in financial analysis and reporting. Knowledge of computer simulation and forecasting techniques. Directly related management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Education:
Master's degree

Preferred Experience:
7 years

Preferred Field of Expertise:
Directly related experience in a university environment with knowledge of university systems and procedures preferred.
