The Financial Reporting Manager - External Reporting is responsible for managing the preparation of annual and quarterly SEC filings. This team member will ensure that all actions are executed within the parameters, objectives and guidelines established by management. The Financial Reporting Manager - External Reporting will provide support to management in determining whether proposed transactions are entered into in accordance with GAAP. This team member is responsible for the mentoring and management of the Financial Reporting Financial Analysts - External Reporting. Detailed Description
JOB DUTIES Supervise the preparation and review of the Companys SEC filings, including the 10-Qs, 10-K, 8-Ks and other filings. Review documented support for all SEC filings. Perform detailed review of XBRL requirements and submissions. Responsible for the consolidation of the North America and the International Operations SEC disclosures. Coordinate with the outside auditors on quarterly reviews and year-end audits. Interpret, document and assist in the implementation of new and/or revised FASB standards and SEC regulations as applicable to the Company. Review investors presentations. Supervise, mentor and develop assigned personnel; allocates work and makes decisions regarding employment, training and development, and performance appraisals. Responsible for maintaining and updating the company's financial reporting policies and procedures. Promote process efficiency and create a best practices environment.

Knowledge Extensive knowledge of FASB standards and SEC regulations. Must understand XBRL reporting requirements. Must understand and be able to prepare financial statements. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of securitization and derivative accounting preferred
Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to analyze financial statements and provide explanations for unusual fluctuations. Deadline oriented and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Must be detail-oriented. Leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and provide direction to others. Ability to handle multiple tasks, including ad hoc projects, while supervising staff. Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, Hyperion and Query tools. Ability to interact with all levels of employees within the Company.
Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience preparing financial statements and SEC reports. Experience in financial services industry a plus. 5+ years progressively responsible accounting experience preferred. CPA required.
