Ensure procedural and accounting controls are maintained, resulting in providing timely and accurate financial information reporting. Coordinate the flow of work and provide expert analytical support.

Responsibilities:

Act as liaison to Corporate Financial Services and Treasury for mutual fund and bank reconciliations. Oversee plan disbursements, including maintaining positive relationship with custodians. Manage daily cash receipts related to SRS billing and accounts receivable, including daily reconciliation, custodian billing. Responsible for accurate maintenance of all participant tax records, including reconciliations and providing tax guidance to administration teams.

Research, analyze and respond to inquiries from internal and external sources relating to contracts, financial statements and other financial transactions. Review system audit reports, resolve discrepancies. Act as liaison for Financial Services and internal and external auditors. Review and monitor progress on all Financial Services activity to ensure accuracy and efficiency of each process. Provide expertise on accounting and tax related issues. Analyze and maintain tax reporting system to ensure accurate filings to tax reporting agencies. Identify problems with manual and automated procedures, systems and controls and work with management, Corporate Financial Services, and other business units to resolve issues and implement improvements. Participate in cross-departmental projects.

Train and act as a resource to less experienced staff and mentor entire team. Interact with all areas of the company as a representative for Financial Services. In the absence of the team leader, make decisions and guide other team members on escalated items.

Qualifications:

Financial Analyst I:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.

Two to three years experience working with mutual fund investing, billing, accounts receivable, pension plan administration or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

Financial Analyst II:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.

Six years progressively responsible experience working with mutual fund investing, billing, accounts receivable, pension plan administration or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
