Job Purpose: Oversight for Fleet operations of Nextera Energy Resources vehicles/equipment across the company's multi-state service territory. Responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of all Fleet assets owned and operated by Nextera Energy Resources. Works closely with management to identify vehicle needs and optimize fleet composition by overseeing all respective design, procurement, disposal, operation and maintenance activities. Provide management oversight to contract services provider to assure the fleet is safe, legal, reliable and cost competitive. Also responsible for all cost control related activities including financial and budgeting reporting requirements.

Oversight of daily activities and develop/execute policies/procedures
Provide education, support & a safe working environment
Monitor and manage current vehicle rentals & leases
Facilitate customer transportation issues
Ensure appropriate cost controls are in place and adhered to
Manage a multi-million dollar budget while assuming responsibilities for maintaining/preserving company assets
Oversee & Maintain Nextera Energy company vehicles
Oversee contract management of fleet assets being operated in a multi- state environment
Manage Fleet DOT/Regulatory compliance in a multi-state environment
Ensure a Safety focus and provide presentations to Customer Management and Fleet employees
Enforce Environmental Compliance
Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
Ability to work extended hours and travel extensively

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field of study or equivalent work experience
7+ years experience in a combination of the following areas: o Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Equipment o Light Duty Fleet Equipment
Expert ability with integrity and compliance skills
Competent ability with analysis and problem solving, communications, process/project management professional, and leadership skills
Expert ability with commercial skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, and managerial experience
Six Sigma Certification
Yellow Belt or higher
CAFM Certification
Class A CDL License with N Endorsement
ALTEC Equipment Certification
International Chassis Certification
DOT Regulation Compliance
Military Leadership SAP reporting
SAP Reporting
The work location for this position will be at the East Fleet Services Office in Riviera Beach, FL or at Jupiter West Office in Jupiter, FL.
