      A Flight Technician has the following responsibilities:
      · Line maintenance support of aircraft, support of work scopes, repair and overhaul of engines
      · Remove and reinstall engines on several types of aircrafts
      · Maintain and repair several types of Rolls-Royce engines on-wing and off-wing
      · Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems
      · Read detail, assembly and installation drawings
      · Disassemble and install fluid lines and fittings
      · Logistical support of customers and work scheduled via dispatch lists
      · Daily use of multipurpose instruments such as multi meters and various types of aircraft testing equipment
      · Knowledge of R&R items such as starters, hydraulic pumps, generators and fan blades
      · Complete risk assessments at worksites to determine a safe work environment
      · Knowledge of ATA codes and applicable FARs
      · Expected to use bore scope equipment which will include understanding limits, measuring damage and reporting findings to customers and engineering
      · Give guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians
      · Maintain FAA, commercial and military regulations
      · Ensure timely and accurate completion of customer documentation and adherence to labor standards and travels to the location of aircraft needing service or diagnostics
      · Complete sign-offs and log book entries for work accomplished to return the engine back to service
      · Act as an on-site local representative for customers
      Will t ravel up to 80% of the time

      Qualifications and experience
      • Must have a HS diploma
      • Must have an A&P License
      • Must be willing to travel up to 80%
      • Must be available for rotating schedule on a 24-hour basis to include weekends and Holidays

      • Two or more years of military or commercial aviation experience
      • familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
      • flexibility to travel as needed
      • Must be able to read, interpret and work from engine overhaul, repair and maintenance manual as well as proprietary Rolls-Royce documentation
      • Must be flexible and demonstrate the drive to support company goals and objectives
      • Must be able to read and interpret engine manuals and work from blueprints
      • Must be completely familiar with and capable of using precision measuring tools
      • Must be willing to cross train and perform all tasks throughout the Flight Cell according to the skills matrix
