Supervises assigned department area and team members to ensure on time performance, department production, quality, safety, cost and customer service standards are met.
Required: High school graduate or equivalent
Preferred: Culinary or Hospitality Management school coursework
Required: 2-3 years food service, preferably in a Healthcare setting
Preferred: Dietary; 1 year supervisory experience with emphasis on customer service

Department Position Summary:
Will strive to practice, follow and encourage the visions of Erlanger Health System and Sodexho Services. Plans, schedules and supervises employees in Hospitality Services area to meet the requirements of the Patient Tray Service area. Must be able to coordinate intradepartmental operations concerning the patient service area. Responsible for maintaining high levels of sanitation, housekeeping and safety. Assists in inventory, cost control planning and security of food supplies. Responsible for employee counseling/coaching and daily administrative tasks. Communicates effectively and seeks cooperation and support. Must possess the ability to respond positively to patient concerns and make decisions instantly. Has the ability to work with little or no supervision. May be required to work flexible hours, days off and overtime as required by operational workloads. May be asked to assist in other areas as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
