This position is responsible for the operational responsibility and maintenance of all food service products, services, equipment, policies and procedures. This individual will process customers of the retail store in a manner that enhances the business and maintenance of the facility to support customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Daily preparation, presentation and display of required food service products Maintenance of daily health, safety, sanitation and franchise-required standards Daily preparation and posting of required store reports, preparation and utilization of daily food planner, and inventory management Follow all store and food policies established by Valero Corner Store Ability to provide customer satisfaction, safety and security awareness Assist in the training and development of store employees, completion of tasks assigned by the Store Manager, as directed by Store Manager, performance of routine CSR store tasks/responsibilities
Must meet the minimum age requirements for employment Food Service experience preferred Ability to provide exceptional customer service Successful completion of all company sponsored CSR training programs and Management Development Program (MDP) and food service training Completion of additional certifications may need to considered, such as ServSafe or equivalent Food Service program, franchise-specific certification requirement (e.g. Subway) and Alcohol Certification (ABC) Must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally
