Average Weekly Hours:|
Minimum of 8 hours per pay period.
Performs a variety of routine tasks to assist in the preparation of food for the patients, the café and catering services. Prepares basic recipes and heats or reheats food under the guidance of the chef, or designee. Can multitask and assist to train others in the kitchen, café, dish room, cash register, patient tray line, tray delivery and catering. Performs general cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and checks in and puts away food deliveries while rotating stock and monitoring of food supply levels. Provides excellent customer service to patients, café customers and visitors.
Hiring Range Description:
High school diploma preferred.
Two year minimum food service experience required.
Special Skills / Other:
ServSafe Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire.
