Coordinates food services and bar activities of the restaurant
and bars. Observes and
works in performance of duties to evaluate efficiency and to detect
and correct inefficient work practices.

Essential Functions

Administer all aspects of the food delivery and
beverage department at food and beverage outlets.

Maintain training programs for
employees.
Maintain records required for the efficient
operation of the department. Ensure quality assurance for food,
portion control and receipts, guarding against waste and
pilfering.
Make periodic inspections of all areas and ensure
that they are up to health code.
Manage restaurant and bar labor and
costs.
Establish and administer safety policies and
procedures and assure adherence to these policies and
procedures.
Counsel, guide and instruct personnel in the proper
performance of their duties.
Prepare and coordinate the periodical performance review of
assigned personnel.
Manage the hiring, promotion, approval of vacations
and leave of absence.
Establish and maintain effective channels of
communication upward, downward and laterally..

Ordering products and maintaining bar
inventory.
Establish and adjust department policies and
procedures in accordance with JEI and Gold Dust West
standards.

Other Functions

Other projects may be assigned as
required.

Supervisory Duties

Oversees the front of house restaurant/bar
management and staff in the performance of their
duties.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill & Ability:

Excellent
oral and written communication skills required.

Ability
to follow written and oral instructions.

Excellent
customer service skills.

·
Must have
strong organizational skills.

·
Must
possess a valid Gaming License.

·
Ability
to remain calm and professional when under
pressure.

·
Computer
skills to include Word and Excel programs.

Education

or Formal Training:
Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Work
Experience.

TIPS Certification required (training
provided).

Experience:
3-5 years related experience and/or training.
Must have Hi-volume/casino
experience.

Material

and Equipment Directly Used :
Personal computer, all F&B
equipment.

Working

Environment/Physical Activities :
This
position requires standing and walking up to 40% of the time, sitting
50% of the time and an ability lift, carry, push or pull up to 50
lbs. 10% of the time.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is
regularly required to talk, hear, reach, grasp, taste, smell, and
balance. The
working environment is usually loud and can be hectic and stressful
at times
