DESCRIPTION

A Foreman is responsible for efficiently coordinate and utilize personnel, materials, equipment and other resources placed at the project's disposal in order to complete assigned projects in a safe, timely and cost effective manner. The Foreman will also be responsible for supervising the crew on projects. The Foreman will also be responsible for ensuring assigned construction operations and subcontractor's performance is in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. A Foreman is also responsible for ensuring all the policies are met by field crews, including excavation policies, safe work practices, and DOT guidelines.

Employee Support- efficiently coordinate and utilize personnel, materials, equipment and other resources placed at the project's disposal in order to complete assigned projects in a safe, timely and cost effective manner
Equipment Maintenance - Optimize the use of construction equipment and tools, field equipment operation, aerial lifts, digger trucks, and all-terrain vehicles.
Supervisory Roles - supervising the crew on projects. Ensuring assigned construction operations and subcontractor's performance is in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
Leadership - provide leadership for the safety, accident prevention and fire prevention programs on a project. Lead daily tailgate meetings.
Other - Serves as backup to other positions at the direction of management; and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred, or equivalent experience.
5-7 years or more experience in electrical construction
Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Must have and maintain a valid DOT Health Card.
OSHA 30 Certified
