Position Purpose
To assist the supervisor in organizing, scheduling, and coordinating the efforts to facilitate the set-ups for both on and off campus activities, functions, and events. To insure that work assignments by support personnel are completed to set-up contractual requirement satisfaction. To assist in the training of newly assigned personnel in the operations of support services requirements. Provide support and leadership to the warehouse function including the annual inventory. Provide leadership to direct others in the proper technique of major office moves.

Education & Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent

Computer Skills

Experience
1. Two (2) years experience in set-up methods and event coordination and/or warehouse operations.
2. Experience in an university, hotel, conference or convention center for set-up purposes preferred.
3. Computer automated warehouse experience preferred.
4. Experience in renovation, office and furniture moving preferred.
5. Six (6) months supervisor experience preferred.

Working knowledge in materials handling and warehouse operations.
Working knowledge of set-up methods required.
Ability to accurately read and comprehend instructions and directions from written contracts.
Ability to learn programming and operation of a DMX -512 lighting control board.

Specify sensory abilities:
Correctable to see and hear warning signals and interpret gauges and thermometers.

Physical & Environmental Factors:
Excessive standing and/or walking, Exposure to extreme temperatures, Exposure to loud noises, Lifting (weight) - 80 lbs.

Other Physical & Environmental Factors
Will come in contact with various chemicals stored in the warehouse.
Will be subjected to heights in excess of 12 feet.
