Market, promote and network to recruit foster homes; working with staff and foster parents to promote events
  • Develop recruitment activities to increase effectiveness of recruitment efforts. Frequent evenings and weekend recruiting activities are necessary for effective recruitment
  • Conduct information sessions and meet with community groups and organizations to promote the program
  • Complete all home evaluations/assessments according to minimum standards
  • Co-facilitate or lead PRIDE training for foster parents
  • Complete walk-throughs of all potential foster homes as a part of the home study process
  • Meet face-to-face with all potential foster parents at least 2 X during the home assessment process
  • Participate in all staff meetings, trainings and team interactions as scheduled
  • Participate in supervision at least 1 X per month

  • Measurable Deliverables:

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to continuously attract new foster homes.
  • Ensure that foster development services meet State licensing, program and contract standards.
  • Ensures that foster Parents are adequately skilled and motivated to implement a comprehensive treatment Parent Model.
  • Ensures foster care records contain appropriate documentation, provides liaison with referral sources, providers and consultants.
  • Responsible for development and certification of foster parents
