Market, promote and network to recruit foster homes; working with staff and foster parents to promote events
Develop recruitment activities to increase effectiveness of recruitment efforts. Frequent evenings and weekend recruiting activities are necessary for effective recruitment
Conduct information sessions and meet with community groups and organizations to promote the program
Complete all home evaluations/assessments according to minimum standards
Co-facilitate or lead PRIDE training for foster parents
Complete walk-throughs of all potential foster homes as a part of the home study process
Meet face-to-face with all potential foster parents at least 2 X during the home assessment process
Participate in all staff meetings, trainings and team interactions as scheduled
Participate in supervision at least 1 X per month
Develop and implement recruiting strategies to continuously attract new foster homes.
Ensure that foster development services meet State licensing, program and contract standards.
Ensures that foster Parents are adequately skilled and motivated to implement a comprehensive treatment Parent Model.
Ensures foster care records contain appropriate documentation, provides liaison with referral sources, providers and consultants.
