We are conducting a targeted search for a SQL Development /Support Professional with to work with our client in Charlotte, NC. The pay rate for this 12+ month renewable contract position is $64.00/hour W-2. There is no relocation assistance or expense reimbursement provided. All Candidates who work at this Energy client’s site in Charlotte can expect a daily parking fee that is not reimbursed.

- Analysis and documentation of business requirements • Periodic on-call support (24x7) Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline Desired Qualifications: • Experience in supporting vendor applications and configuration • Experience in performing production installations and bundled releases • Experience with Informatica ETL development or a transferable skill set • Experience with Web Services • Experience in SSAS and SSRS • Exposure to working with EH&S compliance data or applications such as Essential Suite. • Experience with Duke Energy’s standard design and testing tools (ie. Enterprise Architect and Quality Center tools) THIS POSITION IS 50% DEVELOPMENT/50% SUPPORT. MUST HAVE STRONG SUPPORT EXPERIENCE • Experience in troubleshooting IT application problems • Experience in supporting end users with use of technology and applications • Thorough knowledge of application development life-cycle, including programming experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • A minimum of 3 – 5 years experience with application support and C# development • A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience working with SQL Queries and Microsoft SQL Server 2005/08 All Candidates must be willing to work W-2 and pass a drug/background check in accordance to our Client’s human resources policies.
