This exciting San Franciso based company is looking for a Front End Engineer who will be responsible for creating engaging customer experiences that leverage the API on multiple HTML/Javascript platforms, including TVs, smartphones, tablets and PCs. The Front End Engineer will be developing the latest hardware and software creating first-of-a-kind experiences and providing valuable feedback on emerging technologies. The Front End Engineer will also be involved in the development of content creation tools that assist the company’s customers in building unique content driven experiences. The Front End Engineer works closely with designers to drive groundbreaking, but implementable user experiences and the server side architects and engineers to ensure the company data is being delivered in an optimum fashion.


Minimum 3+ years of experience in Front End Engineer Role.

HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript development on modern browsers based on Webkit.

Proficient with development tools for the creating and debugging web based applications.

Fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite.

Proficient with modern web frameworks and libraries such as JQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation, Backbone, Dojo.

Experience with source control and continuous integration tools such as Git, Subversion, Hudson, Bamboo.

Ability to automate common tasks using one or more scripting languages (e.g. Ruby, Groovy, Bash, Perl, Python).

Extra credit for experience developing and debugging web applications for TVs or set top boxes.

Create well organized web applications that follow the latest best practices with HTML, Javascript and CSS development

Identify, build and maintain components that can be used across companies products and customers.

Collaborate with consumer electronics manufacturers and other partners to provide implementations to help speed adoption of the companies products.

With the QA team, jointly develop strategies for automating testing across a variety of non-traditional platforms.

Build and maintain developer documentation to effectively communicate standards of best practices to developers with a varying skill levels.

Interfacing with multiple groups including engineering, quality assurance, marketing and business development.
