Candidate will be responsible for those duties required of a Fully Qualified Navy Validator (Certification signed by the Navy Certification Authority) to ensure Information Assurance requirements that apply to IT systems and networks are satisfied, tested, and are representative of the true C&A posture of The system. Perform Validation task as directed by the Program Manager (PM), Assistant Program Manager (APM), and/or system owner leading to the assurance that the IA requirements are met. Act as an advisor to the PM or System Owner on behalf of the Navy CA to ensure proper actions are taken during the C&A effort. Candidate will also be responsible for processing and validation of the activities associated with systems within The Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).

CompTIA Security +
CompTIA Networking +
GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
Navy Certifier Course
DON Certification Agent Certification
Understanding of the entire DIACAP process.
Have Advanced Familiarity of Navy Systems and Architecture
Four + years of experience working as Navy Certification Agent/Validator
Thorough knowledge of certification testing tools
Experience developing DIACAP C&A documentation of Navy Systems
Understanding of basic DOD facility security requirements.
Responds/troubleshoot/resolve network, enterprise, and client level networking and application issues.
Understanding of Navy Portals associated with IA (i.e., eMASS, IATS, DITPR-DON, DADMS, INFOSEC, etc)
Must have a current Secret DoD clearance or higher level clearance.
