Administer GED (General Educational Development) examinations in the GED testing center and at addendum testing sites (correctional facilities), test preparation, ensure proper environment, provide instructions, process scores, report results, maintain statistical information, and maintain security including keeping test materials secure and confidential prior to, during and after each test session.
Other tasks may be assigned based on contemporary institutional need.
Work Schedule: This position is scheduled for approximately 10 hours per week including afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Additional hours may be available for special test administration. Continuation after June 30 is dependent on funding.
Closing Date: Open until filled. Screening to begin immediately.
Start Date: Early January 2013.
Administer tests following set protocol
Ensure and maintain proper testing environment
Collect testing payments and issue receipts.
Communicate effectively with LCCC staff and students
Experience in teaching, training, counseling or testing; and demonstrated excellent skills in interpersonal communications, customer service, records management and word processing/ database.
This is not a teaching position.
