Qualified instructor needed to present adult basic literacy and GED® curriculum to multi-level adult learners. Curriculum includes reading comprehension; writing and grammar; and basic through secondary math. Responsibilities include lesson planning, instruction, learner goal setting, and learner documentation.
Bachelor’s degree and experience in classroom instruction is required. Experience in secondary education, post-secondary, and/or with adult learners is preferred. Math ability is essential – basics through geometry. The ability to instruct a wide array of learners, adapt curriculum as necessary, and lead students toward goal completion is required.
