CSC is seeking a GEOINT Technical Analyst to support our geospatial customer working in Crystal City-Arlington, VA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required for employment consideration. The successful candidate will possess:

Expert level knowledge and experience with digital cartography, computer technology, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Cartographic and Geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and digital data formats.

Demonstrated participation in and/or directing the activities of highly skilled technical and analytical teams responsible for developing solutions to highly complex analytical/intelligence problems.

Demonstrated high degree of oral and written communication skills, and proven ability to communicate effectively with regional analysts, geospatial analysts, imagery analysts, military officers, cartographers, intelligence analysts, engineers, technicians, managers, vendors, or other customers.

Demonstrated customer support skills.

Essential Job Functions

Prepares intelligence documents through intelligence gathering using geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) to support customers including military, intelligence, law enforcement or security agencies. Recommends process improvements or enhancements to processes.

Oversees the processing of information about situations and entities of strategic, operational or tactical importance; characterizes possible future actions and identifies possible courses of action or remedies.

Analyzes current intelligence holdings, identifies potential shortfalls, gaps and vulnerabilities to develop subsequent collection requirements. Develops specialized intelligence products, threat analyses, production support, and tailored intelligence products such as fusion intelligence, warning intelligence, estimative intelligence or psychological profiling. Develops and/or oversees the development of complex briefings, reports and short notice position papers; reviews, approves and compiles reports, overseeing submission of documentation to relevant databases. Presents briefings to key personnel including senior management. Leads, collaborates with and supports broader security project teams.

Identifies potential targets including assessing targets of opportunity, providing geographic, photographic and threat-related information to appropriate parties such as the military.

Oversees the processing of incoming reports and messages, determining significance and reliability of incoming information. Integrates incoming intelligence and operational information to maintain situation awareness displays. Identifies issues and concerns and escalates as appropriate.

Oversees and/or develops periodic and special intelligence reports, plans and briefings. Recommends changes, and where appropriate, courses of action. Identifies critical strategic issues through review of information created.

Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, public policy, psychology or related field preferred

Graduate of an intelligence training school or equivalent

Six or more years of intelligence analysis experience

Experience working with intelligence organizations

Experience working with intelligence processes, policies and procedures

Experience working with multiple intelligence sources

Experience working with multiple intelligence databases and maintenance of accuracy and content of same

Experience working with specialized specific intelligence sources such as human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), measurement and signal intelligence (MASINT), open source intelligence (OSINT) and possibly developing subject matter expertise in that particular discipline

Possess security clearance as needed
