Northrop Grumman Information Systems is seeking a self-motivated, team oriented, junior level GIS/Geospatial Analyst to join our team of experienced imagery analysts providing mission critical research, analysis, and reporting to our Customer in its efforts to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).
The successful candidate is expected to have experience using mapping and geospatial applications, particularly ArcGIS and Google Earth, and be comfortable manipulating and plotting data within these software programs. He or she must be able to generate products in ArcGIS and Google Earth using multiple data types, including raster and shape, and include standard annotations including a scale bar and North arrow. The ideal candidate will already understand what a geospatial product looks like. Microsoft Excel data manipulation skills are a plus. A graphic artist background and the ability to produce skilled GIS output is also desired.
As an entry-level analyst, the candidate will work closely with our team's imagery analysts to learn our Customer's mission requirements and standard processes. Data manipulation is at the core of this position; however, we support additional on the job training and a gradual exposure to analytic techniques and operational planning.
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position, which is located in Reston, VA.

Familiarity with unclassified and classified all-source databases
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment
BS Degree with 2 years of experience or 6 years in lieu of degree.
Degree in Geography or Geographic Information Systems
MASINT data exploitation experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel data manipulation skills
Graphic artist background
Experience as a targeting officer in the defense industry and/or military
