Brief Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of Client Management, manage aspects of marketing programs including development, execution, evaluation, and management of programs for a tobacco client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead contact person for major programming
Responsible for driving strategic and creative solutions
Oversee team’s multiple project work, while implementing a structured execution process of event marketing practices.
Create strategic documents for client presentations.
Create program analysis reports.
Maintain daily written and verbal communications with clients.
Identify and problem-solve program challenges and consult with senior management to avoid them.
Assist with program account assignments and structures for new business.
Debrief and prepare to incorporate new business into account team.
Monitor program progress and recommend adjustments as necessary.
Make company presentations to potential clients and product-specific presentations to both potential and existing clients.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent time-management, organizational, and management skills.
Demonstrable problem-solving skills, ability to perform independently regarding account/team management.
Experience in packaged goods/sports/entertainment/music field.
Adaptability to manage multiple clients, vendors, manufacturers both verbally and in writing.
Ability to develop and express creative ideas.
Ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to assist on other programs as needed or requested.
Ability to travel; travel varies by program and may include weekends.
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, or related marketing background/experience
Event Marketing experience highly desirable
Five years in the industry experience
