GRA / GTA —Global and Community Health
Internal Search: Open to currently enrolled George Mason University graduate students only.
The Department of Global and Community Health in the College of Health and Human Services ( CHHS ) seeks Graduate Research or Teaching Assistants to participate directly in research or teaching activities, under faculty supervision, for 20 hours per week during the academic year.
Students must be in good academic standing, maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average, and may not have any recent unsatisfactory grades. Full-time Graduate Assistants (20 hours/week) must be enrolled for at least nine hours of graduate work during the fall and/or spring semesters during which they are employed. Exceptions are only considered for students who need fewer than nine hours to complete their degree and graduate. Students awarded an assistantship may not engage in other employment during the semester without explicit approval of the departmental chair.
Applicant must be a current or newly admitted student in a graduate degree program ( CHHS area of study is highly preferred).
Selection of the GRA / GTA will be made by the academic unit.
