The primary responsibility of this position is to nominate physical volumes on several interstate and local distribution
pipelines. The position also handles mid-office requirements to ensure proper invoicing of gas sales. Other responsibilities
include tracking tariffs, pipeline and regulatory notices and filings.
Under general supervision, position will:
Daily Scheduling and confirmation of flows on pipeline EBB systems and into the EMK3 Gas Marketing system.
Gain knowledge and understanding of various pipeline EBB systems that CNX flows gas on to meet sales commitments and
avoid pipeline penalties.
Prepare daily position reports for traders, including recommendations based on real-time pipeline operations and market
Pipeline imbalance monitoring and mitigation.
Monitor pipeline maintenance activities and communicate to key personnel.
Assist in the month end closing revenue and volume process.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to gas scheduling and transportation to ensure efficient and reliable
gas transportation services.
Handles capacity releases on various pipelines within the FERC issued rules and regulations.
Prepare reports as assigned, assists in back-office invoice reconciliation, and enters transactions into EMK3 Gas Marketing
Coordinates with our JV partners on gas taken in-kind.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to perform functions of the job.
A Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Engineering, Accounting or related field is preferred.
2 – 5 years’ experience, preferably as a Scheduler
Experience with TETCO, TCO and DOMINION Pipelines
Self-starter and capable of working in a high paced environment under strict deadlines.
Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
Rotating weekend and evening on call duties will be required.
Overnight travel as necessary.
