General Manager - Brunswick Zone XL

Brunswick Zone XL in St Peters, MO is in need of an experienced, service-oriented General Manager to oversee all facets of this 60,000 square foot of state-of-the-art full entertainment venue which includes three private meeting rooms, a full-menu bar and grill, laser tag, arcade, and of course bowling.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a Brunswick Zone retail center including P&L management , talent management (65-75 hourly, salaried and part-time employees), marketing, budgetary and inventory controls, customer service and any other requirements which may impact center operations.

Accountabilities:
Administrative/Financial:
Responsible, with center controller, for preparing budgets, forecasting, financial recording, reporting and protecting the assets of the company.

Customer Experience/Guest Services:
Promote a positive image of the center by maintaining a fun, safe, clean environment for guests and employees

Sales/ Community relations:
To effectively market the location to the community using local, regional and national promotional services. This may include participating in local groups to develop excellent community relations to increase customer traffic to your bowling center.

Safety/HR Compliance
Must maintain the assets of the company to ensure quality levels of customer service and safety compliance. Manage employees to incorporate company HR guidelines to ensure government regulation compliance.

Profit and Loss (P&L):
Effectively manage operational aspects to ensure profitable performance. Responsible for total center profitability and direct all activities related to customer service, merchandise flow, store maintenance, expense management, shortage prevention, human resources and sales support functions.

Job Requirements:
What you bring to our winning team:
High School Diploma . College degree in Hospitality or Business preferred
Prior General Management level experience in Bowling, restaurant or hospitality with P&L and other budgetary responsibilities.
Experience managing a multi-function staff of 50 or more.
Proven success record in a management role to include a history of motivating and developing staff members building sales and generating revenue
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, to include nights and weekends.
Someone who can timely address problems and make decisions independently.
Knowledge of the game of bowling and equipment is preferred.
Desire to motivate and train employees to build a team focused on outstanding performance.
An understanding of profit and loss and experience with managing within a budget.
Experience with hiring employees and resolving employee conflicts.
Active within community and desire to work in a fun and fast paced environment
