Jacobson Companies, one of the Nation’s largest Third Party Logistics Companies with over 7,000 employees in 175 locations has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager in Lancaster, PA. Responsibilities for this include but are not limited to:
Identifying areas for process improvement and cost saving for our customers
Interacting with our customers to ensure that all expectations are met
Direct warehouse activities including management, proper utilization of space, equipment and manpower
Review and approve all operations expenditures within approved budgets
Maintain rate structures that are competitive and cost effective for customer
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and implemented
Additional responsibilities assigned as necessary
The qualified applicant is preferred to possess a Bachelor’s Degree as well as five plus years of warehouse management experience. Experience in a 3PL and retail distribution is a plus. Additional qualities include: proven record of continuous improvement, exceptional leadership skills, strong communication skills – written and oral, ability to multi-task.
