Directs and coordinates all activities of a start up Distribution Center in Bethel, PA. Develops and implements systems, processes and /or programs that will maximize operational efficiencies and productivity. Provides leadership and direction to management staff and associates and maximizes workforce utilization while promoting/fostering teamwork. Promotes strong fiscal and ethical standards throughout the organization. Manages multiple facilities or multiple facility types under one roof.

Manages the DC Assistant General Managers. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the DC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

Ensures that stores receive ordered merchandise in a timely and efficient manner. Interfaces with stores and SSG to ensure quality store shipments.

Directs short and long term planning, deployment of resources, budgeting, and expense control.

Assesses all work processes to ensure the maximum in service and productivity.

Develops and prepares annual operating budgets and ensures compliance, Achieves operating and financial goals and objectives, assesses any P&L issues and is responsible for operating within budgeted guidelines.

Works with and mentors others in their group to provide the company with qualified, well trained managers capable of being promoted.

Responsible for the overall upkeep and security of the facility.

Experience/Education Required
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

Seven to ten years DC management operations role.

Two to five years General Manager responsibility.


Must be familiar with creating and forecasting budgets; should be familiar with product and how it affects the warehouse and procedures; Microsoft Office applications; good written and verbal communication; WM or equivalent system.
