The primary responsibility of this position is to register online applications for DHS cash assistance programs. This includes the ability to do thorough file clearances in Bridges and linking duplicate recipient ID numbers. This position is also included in the rotation of mail duties, ordering forms and supplies, sorting/matching faxes, producing staff meeting notes, filing closed case files and other miscellaneous office duties.
This is a limited-term appointment and may have the opportunity to go permanent.
Required Education and Experience:
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
General Office Assistant 5
No specific type or amount of experience is required.
General Office Assistant 6
One year of administrative support experience.
General Office Assistant E7
Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate level.
