Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Geospatial Technician/LiDAR-Terrestrial Scanning for its Dayton, OH office. This position is primarily responsible for performing basic and advanced tasks in our Mobile LiDAR and Terrestrial 3D Laser Scanning group. Candidate must possess strong survey background with Microstation and/or AutoCAD experience. Successful candidate will have prior experience in 3D CAD deliverables and 3D feature extraction from point clouds in one or more of the following hardware/software suites: Stereo Softcopy hardware, Microstation V8i,Geopak, Inroads, Terrasolid products, Certainty 3D's TopoDOT and Leica's Cyclone. 3D modeling experience from point clouds a plus. Position will also require the ability to complete some basic photogrammetric tasks necessary to support LIDAR data collection. Orthophotography production experience also plus. Occasional field work is possible.
