Position Reports To:
Vice President of Global Marketing, ID Solutions

Position Summary:
The Global Director of Digital and Web Experience will lead the strategy and implementation for ID Solutions global digital capabilities. More specifically, the Global Director of Digital and Web Experience will have primary responsibility for working with multi-cultural teams across the Americas, Europe and Asia to ensure that website customer experience, usability, functionality and engagement are optimized and consistent. The end objectives are enhancing and building Brady’s brand globally, assisting Brady’s distributors through digital lead generation, driving incremental revenue and solidifying online customer relationships. Approximately 20-30 percent travel is anticipated.

The individual we are seeking will be expected to play a leadership role in assessing online strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; crafting a clear, concise and compelling vision; and building out the five-year strategy, team and needed capabilities. This individual will also establish priorities with the geographies, marshalling resources and ensuring that proper infrastructure is in place to drive execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define a global vision for digital that will enable global mission and objectives.
•Set priorities and high-level strategies for achieving that vision.
•Ensure the digital strategy is executed in a manner that results in profitable growth at or above the expectations.
Global eCommerce:
Establish global direction and execute the day-to-day regional operations for internet web sites
•Partner closely with the other global centers of excellence (e.g. Industry/Market Managers, Product Management, Data & Analytics, and Pricing) and regional operations (e.g. Mark/Comm, Web Content Managers) to deliver an optimal eCommerce experience and drive online revenue.
•Set direction, strategy, priorities, and timelines in regards to the development of features and functions for the eCommerce channel.
Digital User Experience Design & Optimization:
Define, implement, and manage the digital user experience for all digital touch points.
Global Digital Marketing:
Define and develop strategies, practices, and standards for digital marketing activities that will be executed within the regional business units
•Regional execution of Paid, Owned, and Earned media through development and sharing of specific strategies, processes, standards, best practices, and budgets.
•Build and enhance Brady’s Social Media strategies.
•Regional execution of e-mail marketing, CRM, and marketing automation through development and sharing of specific strategies, processes, standards, best practices, and budgets.
Global Digital Solutions:
Establish and manage vision, direction, and priorities for the development of the digital platform.
•Oversee and direct the self-contained, solution design, and QA & performance testing.
•Partner closely with IT to ensure rapid delivery of solutions of digital solutions
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Ten years of broad ecommerce experience, ideally, in a B-to-B and B-to-C commodity-driven environment.
• Broad working knowledge of information technology along with the specific knowledge of ecommerce systems and applications.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Strong blend of commercial and technical skills with the ability to synthesize relevant information and make key decisions.
• Strong understanding of the design and architecture of ecommerce and high transaction volume systems.
• Proven ability to develop a clear and concise business case.
• Cross-cultural communication skills.
Desired Characteristics: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
An MBA or related Masters Degree.
• Entrepreneurial/Startup experience.
• Experience providing digital support to distribution partners.
