Global Senior Analyst - SAP

We are searching for a Global Sr. Analyst to join our SAP Global Core Model organization. This role supports the various phases of SAP Implementation, including Delta Blueprint, Localization, Integration Testing, Preparation, Go-Live Support and ongoing release activities. As part of the Global Core Model (GCM) organization, this role is responsible for building and maintaining the global templates including the SAP supported processes, technical developments, training documentation, testing scenarios, and security.
The Global Senior Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining deliverables as part of the Plan-To-Report-Controlling (PTR-CO) sub-team within the more comprehensive Plan-To-Report (PTR) work stream. PTR-CO accountabilities include detail knowledge of Overhead Management, Product Costing and Actual Costing for planning and period-end close processes.

' Articulate business ideas, suggestions and problems and develop business cases to convert them into deliverable solutions appropriate to Plan-To-Report-Controlling (PTR-CO) work stream.
' Demonstrate advanced business and process knowledge of the core area supported as well as the integration areas (e.g., Finance, Logistics Execution, Make-to-Deploy, Procurement and Data Management).
' Maintain and develop expertise in PTR-CO Cost Center Overhead Management, Product Costing, and Actual Cost Inventory Valuation, including period-end close and planning expertise.
' Deliver assigned documents within approved scope, schedule and budget.
' Proactively and effectively communicate progress in work assignments and deliverables.
' Own and ensure timely issue identification, resolution, and escalation when appropriate.
' Collaborate with the other work streams to ensure that the business requirements are functionally operating as designed, via Functional Unit Testing.
' Work collaboratively with Business Implementation Partner to critically review documentation to ensure that it aligns with Heinz process requirements.
' Proactively share knowledge and best practice with other team members across and within work streams.
' Support Business Process Leads and Business Process Owners to identify and prioritize business requirements.
' Support change management activities by assisting with development and update of training materials, training scenarios, documentation, communication and change impacts.
' Identify and proactively react to interdependencies with other business processes and work streams.
Frequent activities of this role.
' Highlight / identify gaps in existing functionality and frame issues in SAP context.
' Monitor, analyze, tune and optimize the business processes and interfaces in close co-operation with the technology team.
' Work with on-site and off-shore teams to ensure that production issues are resolved.
' Develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will allow the Business Process Owner and Release Lead to determine the relevant cost, time and resources.
' Review GAPs between SAP and current business processes, and assess relevancy/ complexity of incorporation into SAP template.
' Work with the deployment team and business to develop business requirements, by conducting information-gathering sessions with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) from the business.
' Translate business requirements into documented functional specifications associated with workflow, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (WRICEF).
' With assistance from Business Process Owners and SME's, write detailed test scripts, conduct testing and conduct 'Train the Trainer' sessions for testing
' Support job / role mapping and design, including security roles
What are the key requirements for an internal candidate to be successful in this role?
' Bachelors Degree required, preferred field in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
' Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in Cost Accounting and Financial Accounting required, with an overall 5 years of professional experience including experience with product costing and overhead management highly preferred.
' Skilled at influencing without authority cross-functionally to achieve corporate objectives.
' Wiling to travel 25 ' 50% globally, as the project demands dictate.
' Experience with an SAP implementation highly preferred.
' An ability to work effectively and deliver outstanding results in a matrix organization is essential.
