In support of both state and Federal renewable energy policy, Analyst will update our information about Federal energy incentives and research state-level energy incentives in key markets. S/he will synthesize these policies to create simplified, issue-specific fact sheets for policymakers. Primary focus will likely be on the state-level promotion of renewable energy incentives and provide strategic recommendations for future actions for the company and the industry.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Create fact sheets for key markets
• Identify state-level incentives for each energy sector (nuclear, coal, natural gas, wind, solar, hydro)
• Analyze financial impact of each incentive at state levels
• Develop written presentation and graphic materials to disseminate among policy makers, educators, and media
• Develop and promote additional materials to aid in state and federal policy initiatives
• Coordinate specific campaigns in key districts
• Additional duties as required
Position Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Working on degree in political science, public policy, urban planning, engineering, environmental science or other similar discipline
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 0 years
REQUIRED LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: N/A
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Keen ability to absorb and filter mass quantities of information
Proven ability to distill and explain complex concepts
Interest in renewable energy
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong analytical skills
Problem-solving ability
Oral and written communication skills
Self-motivation
Preferred desktop design experience
