The Graduate Assistant in the Business Career Center will assist the Corporate Engagement
Team with the career preparation of undergraduate and graduate level accounting
and finance students. The position will provide coordination of career related events.
Conduct career advising appointments for undergraduate and graduate level business students. Appointments may include career assessment, resume review, and mock interviews.
Advise students on career path options and encourage applications of appropriate internship and employment opportunities available through the Business Career Center.
Coordinate and attend career preparation events including but not limited to corporate office hours, workshops, corporate information sessions, panel discussions, and employer visits.
A bachelor’s degree is required. A background in career advising, recruiting or human resources preferred. A working knowledge of business functions is highly preferred. Outstanding
communication, interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills preferred.
