The Institute for Health Research and Policy (IHRP), in the School of Public Health is searching for a 10 hour per week/25% time Visiting Research Data Coordinator. This individual will assist with data management and analysis tasks related to the Evaluation of We Choose Health, an Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) initiative.
Specific responsibilities include managing a RedCap Database, creating a coding system for data collection forms, and ensuring the integrity of study data. Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred) in public health, sociology, epidemiology, psychology or related field with 3 years relevant experience.
The candidate should have prior experience in performing descriptive and multi-variate analysis on large-scale publicly available data sets as well as project generated primary data using SAS or SPSS.
Previous experience with database creation is desirable. Considerable knowledge with variable coding, missing data imputation techniques and relational database analysis required. Should possess ability to interpret and summarize data output and generate summary reports using graphical data representations. Advanced knowledge of RedCap, and GIS, and Adobes InDesign software preferred.
