SUMMARY:
Plan and execute marketing plans of the organization by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROMOTIONAL/ MATERIAL:

*Understanding company's marketing/promotional needs
*Developing material or designing and procuring material to meet those needs
*Managing promotional inventory

BRAND MANAGEMENT

*Ensuring that all items created are designed to create a consistent brand image to customers.
Creating internal and external communications:
*Work with management to create and distribute internal communications via AEC portal. Write and distribute company newsletter.
*Design and create external communication for visitors to AEC website

ORGANIZING SPECIAL EVENTS

*Work with management to gather ideas regarding AEC participation is public events
Support Business Initiatives:
*Gather, select and analyze market information to determine market characteristics, market share and potential new markets.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

*An excellent graphic artist with the ability to produce first class material in house.
*Will have excellent writing skills, with technical writing experience a plus and the ability to learn,understand and promote our products.
*One who has a lot of flexibility and a high level of accomodation. It will be necessary to work with AEC employees throughout our market and on multiple projects at once. Must be disciplined and have the ability to prioritize work.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience and/or training in design, advertising, communications, and marketing research. In house publishing for a large company or advertising firm is preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret research reports, marketing data, business journals and technical procedures. Must have proven ability to write reports, business correspondence, articles, marketing brochures and mailers. Ability to effectively present information and interact with management, sales and customers.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Ability to analyze markets and call data to assure programs and sales effectiveness. Must be computer literate and have extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and related publishing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream Weaver and In Design.
