The Grille Cook prepares a grilled variety of foods in many different ways. He/She has special training and/or experience in the art of cooking so as to prepare and cook steaks, poultry, and other cuts of meat or seafood to each customer’s exact specifications while simultaneously maintaining full control of the grill station. In addition to preparing grilled foods, The Grille Cook may also be called upon to fry, bake, or even microwave meat, poultry and fish dishes as part of their duties. At times, the Grille Cook sometimes responsible for preparing these dishes prior to being cooked, which may involve cutting or carving meat, fish, or poultry; as well as assembling, measuring, and mixing other ingredients for each particular dish. The ideal Grill Cook candidate has a minimum of two years training and/or experience in the art and is responsible to:
Practice, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures according to policy and health/sanitation regulations
Manage and maintain a safe working condition
Maintain fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with quality standards
