The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer site and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local sited Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customers within the specific region. Job Mission Co-ordination of all technical, organisational and operational activities completed by ASML personnel at the customer site. Personal management and coaching of the engineers allocated to the Group Leader's team.
The holder of this position reports to the Regional Customer Support Manager and gives operational leadership to a team of Customer Support Engineers who provide direct support to customers.
Job Description Act as the operational contact for all issues to the customer and ASML CS.
Manage the operational, short term manpower planning.
Member of Local Account Team for the involved customers, to handle tactical issues. Monitor and co-ordinate technical escalations.
Supervise and co-ordinate on site scheduled activities (periodical maintenance, field change orders) and emergency calls.
Assist with, and conduct, appraisals; be involved in first and second round interviews with new engineers.
Do miscellaneous field service administration.
Education BS degree in Electronics / Mechanical or equivalent experience. Experience > 2 years ASML experience in a leadership role.
Experience developing and coaching others to acheive results.
Strong network within ASML organization
Previous new product introduction experience at customer site
Personal skills Strong organizational skills. Context of the position Affinity with mechanical engineering, hydraulics, optics, electronics, semi-conductor manufacture, software.
