Position Title: Hardware Technician

Position is short term at this time, up to 12 weeks in length.
Position Description:
Provide technician services supporting R&D development activities. Technician will be responsible for the integration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of printers and emulators.

Minimum Requirements:

Working knowledge of electrical systems.
Strong mechanical skills.
Ability to troubleshoot to the subassembly level.
Ability to work from schematics, BOMs, and wire diagrams to build custom assemblies and wire harnesses.
Experience with cable crimp and hand-tools.
Strong PC skills with an emphasis on hardware.
Strong networking skills.
Understanding of operating systems and firmware.
Ability to lift 50lbs and move equipment as needed.
Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and effectively.
A team player with ability to work successfully with little supervision.

Desired Qualifications:

2 year technical degree (or equivalent). Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
A+ Cert or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of et printers and operations.
Working knowledge of scripting codes and tools.
Soldering experience.
Experience withQualityCenter.
