The Marketing Promotional Manager is a strategic, metric-driven B2B marketer responsible for developing, tracking and managing the execution of marketing campaigns and promotions. This role will work collaboratively with other marketing managers to develop and execute a comprehensive and integrated marketing plan to increase market awareness and drive demand generation, spanning

several areas of the marketing mix, from PR and AR, campaigns, promotions, event marketing, internal marketing and other marketing communication initiatives.

The qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful history in a marketing role with responsibilities in assisting with programs that reach new customers, expand revenue growth and grow the existing customer base. This role works closely with several internal teams and external agencies, including partner marketing, creative services, sales, web, public relations, events and other areas to ensure alignment. A key goal is to make sure HP Public Cloud is

integrated into every possible program, campaign and event related to cloud at HP.

You will report to the Director of Marketing Communication to develop strategic plans and then executing on those plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·

Developing program positioning, value proposition, messaging and creative strategy.

·

Increasing awareness, market leadership and sales of HP cloud services.

·

Working with the marketing team to develop impactful promotions and campaigns

to align with new product/service launches and other milestones and

that help drive excitement and leads for the business.

·

Collaborating with channel marketing and sales to identify cross-channel opportunities to generate promotions and awareness.

·

Managing the HPCS speaker’s bureau and work closely with event management and PR to secure high profile speaking engagements and prepare executives.

·

Continuously creating ideas and new programs based on past results, market insights and marketing requirements.

Identifying key customers and

developing customer evidence programs and case studies

to be used by sales and marketing to drive credibility and demand generation.

§

Managing agency resources and contractors as needed.

§

Developing critical content for campaign/promotions thought leadership, including blogs, presentations, bylined articles, etc.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

§

10 years marketing experience with technology companies.

§

Background spanning PR, AR, marcom, corporate communications and direct marketing. Technical writing background a plus.

§

Proven experience driving go to market initiatives.

§

Successful execution of Analyst Relations programs resulting in leads/sales.

§

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation – examples of previous work optimal) – Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals.

§

Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate the business value of technology in marketing programs and materials.

§

Knowledge of best practices and effective touch strategies in prospect and customer communications.

§

Experience using qualitative/quantitative research and insights to drive program success.

§

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management, employees and vendors.

§

Ability to lead complex projects involving various departments and functions.

§

Ability to present ideas to peers and executive management and defend appropriately.

§

Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills.

§

Ability to think strategically and creatively and execute on programs effectively.

§

Self-motivated and resourceful.

§

Ability to work effectively and self-directed in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.

§

BA or BS Degree required.
