We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Leave Administrator to work in the Corporate Human Resources Department located in West Caldwell, NJ.

Job Summary:
The Leave Administrator will provide leave of absence administration in accordance with federal and state laws such as the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), and Company leave policies.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordination of all leaves of absence, including FMLA, USERRA, ADA, and Workers' Compensation, ensuring that varying leave types either run concurrently or as specified by federal or state applicable statutes.

Ensure that all documentation is completed by leave applicant and that such documentation complies with relevant legislation, and is maintained in an orderly manner.

Daily tracking, organizing and coordination of leaves, notifying associates of their leave eligibility and rights, processing requests, coordinating health benefit status and payments, coordinating associates return to work, and responding to any other leave of absence related questions or concerns.

Works with facility HR representatives to ensure compliance with Company policy and carrying out the interactive process for ADA accommodation.

Recommends and schedules independent medical evaluations (IME).

Notifies employees of their rights and responsibilities for continuation of group health benefits. Collects and tracks employee contributions for benefits continuation.

Generates regular and ad hoc leave of absence reports and other pertinent reports for management.

Position Requirements:
Strong knowledge of FMLA and related revisions, state mandated leaves, HIPAA, USERRA, ADA and other leave of absence related legislation.

Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and work in multiple projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent human relations skills, including the ability to work effectively with people over the phone.

Computer literacy with comprehensive spreadsheet and word processing skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

A minimum of 2-3 years in Human Resources with an emphasis in handling leave of absence administration.
