Provides support to the Talent Acquisition team on a daily basis. Posts open positions internally and externally including to the MVP Website, Community Agencies and America/NY Job Exchange. Tracks and completes the position requisition process. Creates and maintains employee personnel folders (electronically and hard copy). Manages the flow and administration of temporary employees and greets Temps/Interns on first day of employment. Processes new hire and/or employment change actions in Lawson. Responds to candidate inquiries via phone and email. Submits pre-employment background and drug screens and tracks/reports results to HR Rep. Provides office support to the Rochester based HR team. Makes meeting/travel arrangements for Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition staff. Assists the Human Resources team in coordinating and presenting coworker events. Supports HR in the development and administration of a candidate assessment process. May conducts reference checks for selected candidates. May assist in searching resume database/candidate database for qualified candidates, screening resumes and forwarding qualified applicants to hiring manager. May support the HR New Hire Onboarding process. Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in HR preferred, or the equivalent combination of years of education and experience.

Minimum Experience: Prior experience supporting Human Resources including experience with HRIS entry required.

Required Skills:
" Knowledge of Lawson HRIS or comparable HRIS system.
" Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, ability to create moderately complex documents containing tables and graphs, mail merge documents, and print labels and envelopes.
" Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel, ability to create and edit moderate complex spreadsheets, sort data, link worksheets, and graphically present data.
" Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
" Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
" Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work with minimal errors.
" Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance issues a must.
" Ability to follow procedures and identify process efficiencies.
