The primary function of this role is to administer the wide array of benefits and programs that Seattle BioMed offers to our staff. The person selected for this position will interface with our Benefits Broker, Benefits Manager, and will work with each of our HR Partners to ensure that all staffing transitions are well coordinated and staff members and managers are well informed.
The ideal candidate will be available to train with us beginning the middle of March, and based on their background and experience, will then be able to work independently to manage various HR programs and also team up with their HR colleagues on team projects.
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of Human Resources experience with depth of knowledge in Benefits Administration. This opportunity is available March through July to cover the leave of a part-time team member. From now until mid-April, this person must be available Monday – Wednesday. Starting mid-April, the work schedule is very flexible but in-office work hours are required. We are looking for someone with expertise in the following areas:
Health benefits enrollment and administration
Medical leaves management
New employee on-boarding, including coordination and paperwork
HRIS basic report writing and updates
Benefits billing and reconciliations
