SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
*1. Provides administrative/clerical support to the Johnston-Willis Human Resources office.
*2. Prepares new hire paperwork for employment physicals. Inputs information into Lawson for new hires and creates 3-4 user ID’s.
*3. Creates and files new employee HR files. Updates and maintains personnel files for all JW campus employees.
*4. Administers 90-day evaluation process for employees at both facilities.
*5. Administers tuition reimbursement program for employees at both facilities.
*6. Orders and distributes plaques and awards for retiring employees.
7. Assists Employee Activities Committee in the sale/distribution of tickets to planned events.
*8 Maintains orientation attendance and Code of Conduct compliance records
*9 Ensures background investigation is completed and processed prior to start date for new employees.
*10 Creates and distributes orientation list.
*11 Maintains documentation logs for payroll/transfers/court orders/name and address changes.
*12 Maintains documentation logs for Robious Sports & Fitness.
*13 Maintains documentation logs on Background investigation for Volunteer Services.

Required – Previous work experience in an administrative role
Preferred – Previous work experience in Human Resources
Required – High School diploma or the GED equivalent
Preferred – College courses in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
