JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY): Under limited supervision, utilizing established policies, procedures, and customary practices, an HR Coordinator performs a variety of general HR duties and supports members of the Human Resources Business Partner/Management team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Coordinates with other HR team members to provide overall client support to assigned groups in the form of resolution of administrative or routine payroll, compensation, or benefit related issues
Answers the HR helpline and responds to emails received via the HR Inbox
Maintains employee service and personal data via PeopleSoft and personnel files
Partners with the Corporate Payroll department on full employee lifecycle payroll topics such as promotions, off cycle increase, vacation balance payouts, etc.
Conducts selected exit interviews and communicates appropriate information to management/HR Business Partners
Responds to unemployment claims and liaises with HR Business Partners for details on specific situations
Prepares ad hoc and standard weekly/monthly reports and coordinates procurement of advanced reports as requested by the client or required by the business
Prepares ad hoc organizational charts via HR Charter
Partners with larger HR team to provide client support during the annual performance review, talent management, compensation planning and other annual processes and projects
Schedules and manages New Employee Orientation and other related on-boarding processes
Provides assistance with job requisition requests and partners with clients throughout the process until complete resolution
Audits and maintains updated records for contingent workers in specific departments
Coordinates the local Invesco Summer Internship Program activities such as meetings, events, and community service opportunities
Prepares separation documents and details for terminations and reductions in force Responsible for updating HR systems with details related to the Invesco Study Support Program
Facilitates ongoing and quarterly local/global HR Business Partner meetings
Assists other HR team members in the execution of department specific and various continuous improvement projects
General office management tasks such as ordering supplies, notifying the team of communications from corporate properties department, etc.

WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
2+ years general work experience in a customer/client focused role and a well developed appreciation and understanding of the dynamics of a corporate/office environment required
General knowledge of HR best practices and employment law is preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required
Ability to quickly manipulate data and present management information to HR managers
Experience working with PeopleSoft and Taleo is preferred

Bachelor’s degree related to Human Resources preferred or equivalent years of direct experience is preferred
